Playing Career

A standout at the University of Georgia, Demetric spent ten seasons in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington franchise, and the San Francisco 49ers.

Second Career

What followed was not a transition into a different field so much as a change of seat inside the same one. He has spent the years since advising organizations across sports, business, and civic leadership — with an emphasis on the programs institutions build for athletes and the structures required to make them work.

He has served as a long-standing consultant to the NFL and NFL Players Association’s benefit program, work that put him inside the operating reality of athlete support at scale.

What He Brings

Demetric’s value is not only what he knows but where he is trusted. He moves between the athlete community, corporate leadership, and institutional decision-makers, and is credible in all three — a combination that is difficult to build and impossible to shortcut.

For organizations entering the sports economy, that access determines whether a door opens at all.
